"Shore to Please" by Suzanne Halstead Sold for $360.00
"Shore to Please" by Suzanne Halstead: This antique child's chair was probably attached to a desk earlier in it's life. I chose to keep the chair in it's 'well used' state and added the mosaic design for color and interest. The abstract images of surf and sand; sky and sun will hopefully capture the imagination of this chair's future owner. I drew my inspiration from the many childhood memories of summers at the Jersey Shore. I'm primarily a printmaker and colorist and work out of my home art studio. Chair may live outdoors undercover, not completely exposed to the elements.
